Vashon View Cottage

Bright cozy studio cottage on the north end of Vashon. Puget Sound, Mount Baker and nature views. Newly renovated throughout with large deck to enjoy the outdoor fire pit and water views. Quiet neighborhood within 10-15min walking distance to and from the ferry (note there is an incline as we are on the hill above). Deer, hawks, eagles and more surround the property. Come enjoy a local jewel and experience small island living, just a 20 minute ferry ride away from Seattle! Guests will have full access to the entire cottage and fire pit on deck. Open yard below. Cottage is an efficient 200sq ft. *Please see notes. The cottage is located on the north-end of the island and is about a 8 minute drive into town. Palouse Winery is located a couple minutes down the highway from the property. Many public beaches and walking trails are accessible all around the island. You can walk or bike from the ferry to the property (noting that you will need to walk/ride up a steep hill). Walking - 10-15min. Buses may be waiting at ferry terminal at certain times- if you ride the bus up the hill ask driver to let you off at 105th and you will need to walk a few blocks from there. We are just a few minutes drive up the hill from the ferry terminal. * Please note the kitchen is small and efficient (no dishwasher). There is a fridge, kitchen sink, microwave, single induction cooktop with pans, toaster oven, crock pot, water kettle and french press. (Please note there is no closet, although we have a luggage rack and hooks (+hangers) on the wall.) *Bed is a queen size. *Please also note this cottage is located directly next to our main home. All cottage windows face away from the main home to lend for extra privacy.
